I'm Eric Detweiler, Professor of English and director of the Public Writing and Rhetoric program at Middle Tennessee State University. I research and teach courses about rhetoric and writing pedagogy, digital writing, podcasting and video games, and public writing. Due to my ever-expanding exasperation with the tech-sector forces shaping the post-Web 2.0 internet, I am currently migrating my site to this domain and rebuilding it from scratch using HTML and CSS. The migration is mostly complete, though many of the links here still point to content hosted on my old WordPress site.
